GEOID99 Interpolation Software
[May, 2002]
Description
These programs were developed as alternatives for
their Fortran counterparts. 'C' code was developed with small
memory requirements in mind. Unlike the Fortran code which
can require a large amount of ram, this utility is very memory
efficient. This code is useful for DOS or other Microsoft
OS's in which memory is limited, such as WindowsCE. The big
difference between these utilities and their Fortran equivalents
is that they can only utilize a single *.bin file. The Fortran
versions by contrast can utilize many grid files. These *.bin
files are NGS formatted GEOID99 geoid files.
G9932 - Alternative version of
intg program
G99ge - Alternative version of
xntg program
You can also download
the original NGS Fortran version of the programs or compute
geoid heights interactively using the NGS Geodetic Tool Kit.
